We are a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, processing, and safely storing blood to support patients across our community.

Blood Services

Blood Collection and Processing

We collect voluntary blood donations and carefully process each unit according to established medical and safety standards, ensuring it is suitable for transfusion and patient care.

Safe Storage

All blood products are stored under controlled conditions that preserve their quality and safety, following strict regulatory and medical guidelines.

Supply to Patients with a Medical Prescription

Blood is provided exclusively to patients with a valid medical prescription, in coordination with attending physicians and healthcare institutions, ensuring responsible and appropriate use.

Our Medical Team

Emergency medicine specialist who contributes his clinical expertise to the Los Cabos Community Blood Bank, supporting the safe and timely use of blood in urgent and critical care situations. With extensive experience in emergency settings, he helps ensure that blood distribution protocols align with real-time medical needs and established safety standards. His work strengthens coordination between the Blood Bank and healthcare providers, reinforcing high-quality, responsible patient care across Los Cabos.

Board-certified hematologist who oversees hematological and transfusion standards at the Los Cabos Community Blood Bank. With extensive experience in blood disorders and patient care, she ensures that all blood collection, processing, storage, and distribution meet the highest medical and safety standards. Her work reflects a strong commitment to ethical practice, quality care, and community health in Los Cabos.

How We Work

Transparency is at the core of how the Los Cabos Community Blood Bank operates. We are committed to providing regular, clear reporting on the use of all financial donations, ensuring accountability at every stage.

Our current goal, is to secure the initial funding required to open the Blood Bank by March 31, 2026. This phase focuses on raising USD $1.5 million to purchase a Blood Mobile, an Apheresis Machine—used to separate blood into its derivatives—and to support the first five years of operations, laying a strong, sustainable foundation for life-saving services in Los Cabos.
